Our Vulnerability and Carbon Monoxide Allowance projects are focussed on delivering fuel poor and Carbon Monoxide (CO) safety initiatives through a range of different services, including:
- Income maximisation
- Energy efficiency advice
- Priority Services Register (PSR) awareness and referrals
- CO safety messaging and awareness
Our strategy is to engage with stakeholders, utilise feedback and undertake research to determine the greatest need of support required across our communities. Our strategy and approach is defined by four key pillars.
-
Fuel Poverty & Energy Affordability (Opens accordion panel)
Our Fuel Poverty and Energy Affordability programmes are designed to help customers who are struggling to afford their energy bills. Through delivery of a tailored suite of accessible support services, they have been designed to help those most in need.
-
Supporting Priority Customer Groups (Opens accordion panel)
Our Supporting Priority Customer Groups programmes are targeted at helping customers who are eligible to join the Priority Services Register. Through accessible, handheld support we can help some of the most disadvantaged communities across our network remain safe and warm in their own homes.
-
Services Beyond the Meter (Opens accordion panel)
Our Services Beyond the Meter programmes provide direct operational support to the most vulnerable households across our network, who are identified as we go about our work. These support services go above and beyond our business as usual activities helping keep people safe and warm.
-
Carbon Monoxide Awareness (Opens accordion panel)
Our Carbon Monoxide Awareness programmes are designed to help raise awareness of the dangers of CO, remind people how to stay safe and to help communities understand the impact of CO can have on different vulnerabilities and age groups.
