At this challenging time, our engineers are focussed on keeping the gas flowing safely and responding to gas emergencies.

We will soon be working in the Ham Drive and North Prospect Road areas of Plymouth to upgrade the gas network. This work is essential to keep the gas flowing to homes and businesses in the area.

“Our work will begin on 8 June and barring any unforeseen circumstances will finish on 31 July (2020).

In agreement with Plymouth City Council, and to keep the local community, road users and our colleagues safe while we work, from 22 June to 6 July (2020) we will need to close the westbound lane on Ham Drive from its junction with Dyburgh Crescent to the junction of Hope Close.

Then, from 6 July to 27 July we will need to close the westbound lane of Ham Drive and North prospect Road from its junction with Hope Close. Traffic lights will be in operation throughout our works and all diversion routes will be clearly signposted.

To do this work, we will not need to enter any customer’s homes, and there will be no impact on local gas supplies. Access for home delivery’s and the emergency services will be maintained at all times.
