Gas emergency and pipeline service Wales & West Utilities has launched a recruitment drive to fill 40 operational jobs across the south west of England.

The business is looking to recruit people to support its essential work across Gloucester, Bristol, Swindon, Taunton, North Devon and Exeter. The roles include gas engineering operatives, HGV Grab Drivers and Support Drivers, and all will play a pivotal role helping keep the gas flowing safely today, while preparing the gas network to transport green gases like hydrogen and biomethane.

The 40 roles will be based at operational hubs across the area. Applicants must be willing to work a variety of shift patterns. including weekend and evening work, and all engineering operatives will be part of a 24/365 standby rota.
