Our work to repair the gas pipe, damaged by a contractor last week is now complete. Our engineers from across our network including Chippenham, Swindon, Bristol, Bath, Exeter, and South Wales have been working around the clock since last Tuesday (11 February) to restore gas supplies to the area and ensure the repair is fixed safely and as quickly as possible.
You may see our engineers in the area over the next few days as we monitor the pressure in the gas network following the repair.
Customers who were not at their properties when we have called to restore their supply are asked to call our customer service team on 0800 912 29 29.
We would like to say a huge thank you to the local community for their support and continued patience with us while we completed this complex repair work.
