Re gas leak, Foundry Lane, Chippenham 

Martyn Pallant, Wales & West Utilities Network Service Manager said: 

Our work to repair the gas pipe damaged by a contractor is progressing however it will be early next week before this complex repair is fully completed.  Our team will work over the weekend to ensure they complete the work safely and as quickly as they can.

Over the weekend we will also continue to carefully monitor the pressure in the gas network to ensure it remains sufficient to keep everyone in supply.  Our teams will be active in the area to quickly respond to any supply issues should they arise.
