Stacy Griffiths is part of our Environment team working as Corporate Environment Lead who takes a lead role in defining and delivering WWU’s environment action plan.
Stacey started her career with WWU in 2005 as a school leaver and has achieved many additional qualifications through working for WWU.
Stacey explains how her career has benefitted from being part of a company like Wales & West Utilities:
In my 19 years with Wales & West Utilities, I've experienced firsthand the company's commitment to supporting employee development. In this time, I’ve gone from being a school leaver to having a degree and now working towards other professional accreditations, all while progressing within the business.
From my early days to my current management role, I've consistently been able to increase my skills and knowledge. The company's support has enabled me to achieve more than I ever thought possible, and I'm grateful for the opportunities that have been provided.
Stacy provides some further details on what her day to day responsibilities are,
My role includes supporting the business in reducing our environmental impact, through existing work and major projects, as well as collaborating with industry experts and internal stakeholders to assess our environmental impact and identify opportunities for improvement. I oversee and deliver biodiversity and community project that enhance the well-being of the communities we serve and improve local ecosystems.
