Lewis started working for Wales & West Utilities in 2010 on the reinstatement team and now works as a Regional Energy Planning Manager.

Lewis has held a number of positions since starting with WWU and has made the most of the opportunities to experience different roles and take on new challenges.

Lewis explains how his career has benefitted from being a part of a company like Wales & West Utilities:

Since I started working in Wales & West Utilities after leaving school, I have been determined to build a career path and look to expand my learning and knowledge of the business from the ground up. I am always seeking new opportunities and taking on new challenges wherever they may come from

It's been a journey I have loved and wouldn’t change a thing. I am keen to keep expanding on the 15 years experience I now have and look towards the future of our industry and our network, helping to shape its operation in whatever form is required.

Lewis has some advice for anyone thinking of joining the gas industry:

My advice to anyone looking to plot their own career path would be to take all opportunities that come about, and don’t be afraid of working in uncomfortable or challenging situations -that is where the best learning comes from!
