Kayleigh started working for Wales & West Utilities in 2023 in our customer service team, taking customer calls. Since then Kayleigh has made of the most of secondment opportunities, starting a role as Customer Support Officer.

Kayleigh explains more about her career journey in Wales & West Utilities:

I started my career for Wales & West Utilities in April 2023in customer service taking calls. I then got offered a secondment as a customer support officer covering central patch, covering Bristol. In February 2024 I got offered a permanent position as a Customer Support Officer covering South Wales.

Kayleigh explains what she really enjoys about her job and working for Wales and West Utilities:

Being a customer support officer is a brilliant job, my main role is to attend customers houses, explain the gas works in their area and how it is going to affect them.  I also attend during the projects, maintaining contact with customers to ensure everyone understands what is going on, and reporting back to my colleagues in the office on key developments.

I enjoy working for Wales & West Utilities. all the staff are friendly, my managers are amazing and have supported me through absolutely everything, including issues that aren’t work related! I absolutely love going to site to visit the teams, would highly recommend working for Wales & West Utilities to anyone! The support you receive from colleagues and mangers is second to none!
