Francis Kirk, Wales & West Utilities Programme Controller for South Wales said:
“To finish our work on lower Pantmawr Road in Rhiwbina safely, we need to close lower Pantmawr Road between Caer Wenallt and Northern Avenue overnight on Wednesday: from 8pm on the 1 November to 6am on the 2 November.
“A diversion route through Rhiwbina village will be clearly signposted. This morning our team hand delivered letters to homes and businesses on the Pantmawr estate, Rhiwbina Hill and adjoining roads, letting them know about the work and the diversion route.
“We know that this may be disruptive, but we really appreciate the patience of the local community and local road users as we finish our essential gas pipe upgrade work on Pantmawr Road.”
