Clive Book, Wales & West Utilities Head of Emergency Services said:
“We have now repaired a leak on the gas network near Locking and have turned the gas back on to approximately 200 homes and businesses in Elborough.
”Where people are out, we have left them information letting them know how to contact us so we can turn their gas back on when they return.
“We really appreciate the patience of local people while we’ve repaired this gas leak, and are sorry for the disruption this has caused.”
